The Maserati Gran Turismo has been on sale since 2007. It’s been ELEVEN years. This one has 7,400 miles on the clock and ten years on the title and I drove it.
It sat still for around four years, then it was used once and then it sat still for another two to three years. The last time I saw it moving it was last December. And with good reason, This car is really bad at everything it does except killing high end 880CCA batteries.

Things that are not as old as the Gran Turismo:
1. 2nd gen iPhone (first gen has it beat, although barely)
2. Oppositelock
3. Dirt

At least you can get it with a new(er) infotainment system. But sorry, a 11 year old coupe with 450hp at 130,000 dollars is a horrible buy .

Oh I know, was just being funny. There’s no way in hell I would touch that one. What’s sad is that whoever owned it didn’t touch it either.

This thing is probably worth $25-35k now.

“This car is really bad at everything it does except killing high end 880CCA batteries.”
you
know, if the car was actually driven instead of being used less often then flossing, you wouldnt have that issue.

Well, the owner isn’t very keen on that.
I looked at the tyres. 2009!

Yup. Though I admit it looks more expensive
But it feels a lot cheaper

Is this one with the regular automatic or the automated manual?

Not fun to drive?

Boring to drive, but very fun to listen to.

That’s probably the better/more reliable one to have.

It’s the least annoying thing about it...

What are the annoying things about it?

Well.
It’s slow for the power it makes
It’s very inefficient
The handling is pathetically bad
The ride is very bad.
The owner would’ve been better off buying a 335is

Damn that thing feels so much older. Remember the one with the trackball that would always eventually fall out?

Pretty good deal if you want a cruiser with good power and an amazing engine/exhaust soundtrack. Interior condition is also dicey, especially being Italian.

That’s such a weird car to buy and not drive. In theory you buy the Maserati because it’s more of a driver’s car than a similar Mercedes (though in reality you buy it because you’re a douche), but then you just let it sit there. It’s not going to appreciate, and sitting is awful for a car like that. I don’t get it.

I think the owner just never had time to take it out. But 740 miles a year is nothing.

it even had spiderwebs all over the place, it looks like a barn find.

The sound is very good. I don’t think I’ve heard a better sounding V8.
